| Description | 1) Speak to King Bolren at the Tree Gnome Stronghold.
2) There is a loose railing to the southwest. Select to Squeeze Through it and then go down the ladder to the east. Speak to Golrie about the Anti-Illusion Device. 3) Climb up the ladder and follow the path east. Go through the tunnel and select to Push the Big Monolith and then search the Chest. You will receive three Crystals. 4) Go south and push the Small Monolith. 5) Push the large Monolith to the west of the Small one that you just pushed. 6) Use your key on the Mahogany Chest. This will result in in a Strongroom Key. 7) Push the southeastern Big Monolith to the west. Afterewards head to the gate and use the Strongroom Key on it. 8) Read the Lectern in the corner to view the cutscene. 9) You must complete a puzzle at this point, though the puzzle changes for each person. You must complete it by matching up the values in the same fashion that you had to use on Oaknock's Machine from the Eyes of Glouphrie quest. Once you complete it another cutscene wil play. 10) Return to King Bolren at the Tree Gnome Stronghold. Slay the not-so-innocent creature there and speak to the King. 11) Speak to Aluft Gianne Jr. on the west side of the Grand Tree. He will reveal the coordinates to Longramble. They are at: 2 Degrees, 7 minutes South; 3 Degrees, 7 Minutes West. 12) Bring a Grapple and head to Castle Wars. Go down the southwest past the two bridges and then head west until you see a tree that you can use the Grapple across. Do so. Longramble is on the other side. 13) Speak to Longramble. 14) Talk to the Spirit Tree to the north. 15) Return to the Strongroom at the Tree Gnome Village and move the Monoliths. You will find a Singing Bowl. Use the Crystal Saw (from the previous Glouphrie quest) on the Singing Bowl to get a Crystal Chime. 16) Bring some food, armor and the Crystal Chime and return to the Spirit Tree. Ring the Chime and the tree will be cleansed. The path to the sewer will then open. 17) Head into the sewer. Use the Chime to make the Warped Terror Birds vulnerable and then slay them. These are level 143 monsters so be prepared. 18) After slaying the Terrorbirds peek through the gate. You will be caught but Hazelmere will rescue you. After he does, the quest will finish. |
