| Description | After completing the Underground Pass you will randomly be approached by a King's Messenger who will give you a note. That note starts this quest.
1) Read the message given to you by the Squire to start the quest. 2) Visit King Lathas in Ardougne. 3) Head through the Underground Pass, but do not speak to the Disciples, or your cover will be blown. Head into Iban's room and go inside of the door. Recharge your prayer points at the altar if need be and then head down the magical well. You are now in Tirannwn. 4) Once you reach Tirrannwn Idris will confront you, but Essyllt and Morvran will kill him. You must reach Lord Lord Iorwerth in the northwestern corner of the forest. This is a dangerous trek as there are various forms of traps here. To bypass the traps you must find the pits, trip wires or sticks and click to either jump, bypass or step over them. Some of these are poisonous, so anti-poison potions are a plus. The safest route would be to first head to the southwest corner of the forest and then head north. 5) Speak to Lord Iorwerth. 6) Speak to the Elf Tracker who is a bit south of here. He doesn't believe you. 7) Return to Lord Iorwerth, who will give you a pendant. 8) Show the pendant to the Elf Tracker. 9) Search the west side of camp for a tras of Tyras' men. You will see four footprints in the grass. Examine them and then return to the Elf Tracker. 10) Now click to enter the Dense Forest three times and then you will be attacked by a level 110 Tyras' Guard. Kill him. 11) Keep going through the Dense Forest until you reach the other side. Follow the path but be sure to jump over the line traps, which are hard to see. 12) Speak to General Hining in Tyras' Camp. 13) Speak to the Elf Tracker and then to Lord Iorwerth. He will give you a book called The Big Book of Bangs. This is the recipe book. 14) You must create the explosives. This is how: a) Use a mortar & pestle with the Sulfur south of the tracker to get some Powder. b) Mine Limestone in the pits southeast of Prifddinas in Tirannwn. You will pass some level 88 Dire Wolves on the way which you can avoid or fight. c) Use the Limestone on the small furnace as Tyras' Camp to make Quicklime. d) Grab a barrel from Tyas Camp. e) Use the Barrel on the swamp south of the Elf Traker to get Coal Tar. f) Teleport to Falador and put the Barrel and some Coal in your inventory. You need enough coal to craft, so bring extra, maybe 20 pieces to be on the safe side. g) Plac Coal Tar in the Distiller near the chemist in Rimmington, and then add Coal. Keep your heat in the red/green area and the pressure in the green. Once the green distilled bar if filled you will have created Naphtha. h) Use the Tar-Filled Barrel with the Distiller, then click the right side of the valve to the right twice. When the pressure indicator reaches the green, click the right side of the valve to the left to relieve the pressure. Then add some coal. You want to add enough coal to keep the right side indicator in the green. Once the bottom bar turns green then you can stop adding coal and close the window on the top right to get Distilled Tar. i) Use the Pot of Quicklime with the Naphtha Barrel, and then use Ground Sulphur on the Barrel. j) Grab a bow and arrows, rope, spade, tinerbox, hatchet and 4 balls of wool and head back to the Elf Camp. Use the Balls of Wool on the Loom to create a Cloth. k) Use Cloth with the Barrel to create your explosives. 15) Cook some Rabbit Meat. If you need a Tinderbox you can buy one at Tyras' Camp. 16) Give the Rabbit Meat to the guy at the Catapult Launcher. 17) Use the Barrel on the Catapult. 18) Return to Lord Iorwerth. 19) Return to King Lathas in Ardougne. |
