| Description | 1) Speak to the Wanderer southeast of Pollnivneach and north of Sophanem with your kitten from the Gertrude' Cat quest.
2) Give the Wanderer a Waterskin and a Tinder box. Enter the cut scene... 3) Click on the large rock and enter the city. You will receive a Canopic Jar. 4) Head to the second floor of the Embalmer's House and take the Embalming Manual from the table. Read it. 5) Head into the pyramid just north of you, entering the northern door. This is somewhat of an obstacle course. Avoid the moving walls and pit traps, and kill or avoid the mummies and scarabs. 6) At the Burial Chambers west door you will find a puzzle which must be solved to open teh door. This will start a cutscene. 7) Speak with the Sphinx and answer "9" to his question. You will receive a Sphinx's Token. 8) Speak to the High Priest in the Southwest part of town. 9) Go back to the west door in the Burial Chamber (Pyramid). Grab the jar (random one for each player) and a monster Het attack you. Kill him, and then pick up the same jar again. 10) Head back to the entrance until you get the message that you should leave the jar here.... then walk back to the west door and solve the new puzzle. 11) Drop the jar where you found it originally, and head outside and speak to the High Priest. 12) Speak to the Carpenter in town. He will ask for a Willow Log, give him one. 13) Now speak to the Embalmer in the southern part of town. You need to gather him the following items: Linen - From Linen Worker in Sophanem Salt - Use a bucket on the small lake north of Sophanem. Then head to the southeastern part of town and use the Bucket of Salt Water on the centerpiece and search it. Sap - Use a Knife on an Evergreen tree while carrying a Bucket. You can find these all over including north of Falador. 14) Speak to the High Priest again. 15) Speak with the Carpenter again, he will give you a Symbol. 16) Head back into the Burial Chamber and this time head to the eastern door. 17) Use the Symbol on a Sarcophagus. 18) Head through the door and jump across the pit, then re-enter the Burial Chamber. This will spawn a Possessed Priest. Kill him. 19) Speak with the High Priest again. After a cut scene you are taken to Icthlarin. Speak to him. 20) Speak to the High Priest to complete the quest. |
