| Description | This quest is initiated by speaking to Achietties at the Heroes guild, north of Taverly. He asks you to acquire three items for him. You can obtain these in any order. In order to complete this quest you will need to be the member of a gang, and have a friend doing the quest with you who is a member of a different gang.
Cooked Lava Eel 1) You will need to crete an Oily Fishing Rod, and to have a vial of water and a Harralander Herb. 2) Speak with Gerrant at the Fishing SHop in Port Sarim. He wil give you a bottle of Blamish Snail Slime. 3) Use the Harralander Herb on the Vial of Water. Then use the result with the Blamish Snail Slime. This will create oil. 4) You can use the Oil with an Oily Fishing Rod to catch Lava Eels. You need a bait for each Eel you catch. You can get the Eel in the Taverly Dungeon. 5) Kill the Jailer in Taverly Dungeon and loot his key. Use the key on the Jail cell that houses Velrak the Explorer. 6) Speak to Velrak the Explorer, he will give you the Dusty Key. 7) Head north until you get to the poison scorpions, then head across the lava bridge. Turn north and pass the Chaos Dwarves and Lesser Demons. Then use the Dusty Key on the door to the west. 8) Your now in a room with Blue Dragons. There is a lava pit on the west where you can fish for Lava Eels. You must use the bait on the Oily Rod and fish here. 9) After catching the Lava Eel you can cook it on an oven to create Cooked Lava Eel. Firebird's Feather: 1) Bring a Pickaxe and head to White Wolf Mountain. Climb the south end and then go north until you come to the rock slide. You can use your Pickaxe on the rockslide to push your way past it. After this you will come to three ladders. Take teh south one. Then take the southwest tunnel until you come to another ladder. Head up. Then take the eastern ladder down. Head north through the tunnel and it will loop around to a ladder. Go up the ladder and then go down the ladder when you get there. Follow this tunnel and you will come to the Ice Queen's chamber. You must kill her. 2) The Ice Queen is a tough fight. The best strategy is to pull her from behind the throne, to avoid the Ice Warriors in the room. Kill her and she will drop Ice Gloves. 3) Bring the Ice Gloves to Entrana and kill the Firebird. It will drop a Firebird's Feather. Master Thieves Armband This is the step which will require you to have a teammate from another game. There are seperate spoilers for the Black Arm and Phoenix Gang sides. Black Arm Gang Side: 1) Speak to Katrine in Varrock to get the password... "Four Leaf Clover". 2) Obtain a set of Black Plate Mail and wear it. You can buy these at the Varrock Armory and Champion's Guild (some pieces at each). You will need to wear these later. 3) Speak to someoen in the Black Arm Gang office in Brimhaven. He will give you an ID paper. 4) Wear your black platemail armor and black plate large helmet and enter Scarface Pete's Mansion. Show Garv the ID Paper when he stops you. 5) Speak with Grip inside. He will give you a Miscellaneous Key. 6) Give the Miscellaneous Key to your friend from the Phoenix Gang. Then go into the northeastern room and search the chest. This will cause grip to attack you. Your ally can kill him from range. He will drop some keys. 7) Go to the treasury and grab the Candlesticks. Give one to your Phoenix Gang ally. 8) Speak to Katrine in Varrock. She will give you the Master Thieves Armband. Phoenix Gang Member Spoiler: 1) Speak with Straven in the Phoenix Gang Hideout basement. He gives you the password "Gherkin". 2) Have your friend from the Black Arm Gang give you the Miscellaneous Key, and grab a Bow and Arrows. Then speak to Alfonse the Waiter in the Shrimp and Parrot Pub in Brimhaven. Then speak with Charlie the Cook who is nearby. 3) Head through the panel at the west end of the kitchen. Kill the guard dogs on teh way. You will come to the Mansion. When inside you need to use your Miscellaneous Key on the door to the north. You will then be in a closet with a window into the room where you can shoot Grip when your Black Arm Gang friend is ready. When the time is right, kill Grip. 4) Receive the Candlestick from your BLack Arm Gang friend. 5) Take the Candlestick to Straven in Varrock to receive your Master Thieves Armband. Once you have all of the pieces you can turn them in to Achietties to complete the quest. |
