| Description | 1) Speak with Dimintheis in a house southeast of the east bank in Varrock to start the quest. Ask him about the family crest.
2) Speak with Caleb in a house northeast of the Catherby bank. He will give you his part of the Crest in exchange for bringing him teh following cooked fish. You can either cook them or buy them: - Bass - Salmon - Shrimp - Swordfish - Tuna 3) Speak with the Gem Trader in Al Kharid. 4) Talk to the man in the Yellow Cap near the gold rock in teh Scorpion Pit Chasm, north of Al Kharid. He will give you his part of the crest in exchange for a Ruby Ring and a Ruby Necklace made of the finest gold. 5) Bring a pickaxe and speak with Boot in the Dwarven Mines. 6) You need to mine some of the finest gold from a cave east-southeast of Ardougne. In order to get to the area where you can mine the gold though you must pull a series of levers. Here's the trick: - Pull the lever on the northern wall Up - Go to the southern room and pull that lever Up - Go back to the north wall and pull the lever down - Go inside the northern room and pull that lever up. - Go outside of the room and pull the lever on the north wall up - Go to the south room and pull the lever down - Open the cage, and mine two Perfect Ores. 7) Use the gold nuggets in a Furnace. This will create two Perfect Gold Bars. 8) Gather two rubies, a ring mold, and a necklace mold. Use a gold bar on the furnace to make a Ruby Ring, and then again to make a Ruby Necklace. 9) Give the Ruby Ring and Ruby Necklace to the man in the yellow cape to get his piece of the Family Crest. 10) Buy a Cure Poison Potion and stock up on runes and then head to the Jolly BOar Inn in northeast Varrock. Speak to the wizard in a room on the second floor. 11) Give the wizard the Cure Poison Potion. 12) You must now slay Chronozon, a level 170 spider in Edgeville Dungeon. You must use all of your blast spells at least one time while fighting him or he will regenerate too rapidly to kill. He will drop the final crest piece. 13) Use the pieces together to form a Family Crest. He will reward you with a pair of Steel Gauntlets. You can take these gauntlets to any of the three sons to hae these further enchanted to creat the Cooking Gauntlets, Chaos Gauntlets or Crafting Gauntlets. |
